Profile of ourdaysout and how this site started
We are a family of 5 with a dog. We live in Chipping Sodbury near Yate, South
Gloucester which is very near to Bristol and Bath.
My three children (all girls) asked if I could come up with a Web page to show their friends pictures of where we have been on day trips and holidays, and I thought it would be I
good idea if we included little snippets of interest on these places and our comments and thoughts of these places.
So here we are with this web site called our days out
Chipping Sodbury which is where we live is very near to Bristol
and Bath and on its own is a good place to visit with lots of History and other
interest.
Most of the places we have visited are from around this area,
including some of the local parks, but we do like to travel further a field and
enjoy what is about. As we visit different places I will add them and I will add some pictures.
If you have any suggestions on places to visit around Bristol or things to do around Bristol let us know and I will include them.
I hope that you will find this site useful and have some good days out, and the places that you visit around Bristol, Bath and the South West have been worth visiting.
