Lydford and the surrounding area is great for walking or cycling, with a 11-mile cycle and walk way from Lydford to Okehampton which is part of the National Cycle Network so this is a good site to use as a base camp.
Facilities available at Lydford on the site include: toilets, showers, electric hook-up, dishwashing, laundry, area for ball games and a dog-walk. Non-members are also welcome welcome.
If you want a peaceful camp site this one at Lydford is ideal, nothing here for the kids to do but great to use as a base or for a relaxating stay.
