Looe Cornwall is a great fishing harbour and has a beach about about a 15 minute walk from the car park. Dogs are NOT allowed on the Beach at Looe, but if you go over to the far left which is about a 5 minute walk and over a rough path to a small bay, dogs do seem to be allowed here but please check. (The access to this bit can be difficult if you have a member of the family who is disabled or has trouble walking).
There are plenty of shops to have a good look around and a few of them are dog friendly and allow dogs into the shops as do some of the Pubs and other eateries. There are also plenty of fish and chip shops around.

The Twin towns of East Looe and West Looe, are connected by a bridge, and here at the harbour the fishing boats land their catch, this is also a great place to go Crabbing.

There is plenty of accommodation near by from Holiday parks, caravan parks, self catering accommodation and more.
We stayed at the Looe Bay holiday park which is a good site which is not to far away from most places and good for Kids of all age groups, check out some of the Pictures below. This camp site also takes dogs.

Not far from Looe is an other great Fishing village called Polperro, You can not drive into Polperro but you can take a Horse and cart ride or a Tram ride down into the village or just plain old walk. For more information look at the Polperro page.

If you go a long the coast to the East a little way there is a nice beach with some great sheltered coves at Whitsand bay Dogs are allowed here all year. It is a bit rugged and rural here but if you like somewhere not to crowded and off the beaten track this is great.
